Méli-Mélo

Centre Culinaire Contemporaine Workshop – Rennes, France

The aim of the project is to offer a service inside the supermarket and an experience for the customers, specifically in the area dedicated to fruit and vegetables. We propose a stand where people can choose daily fruit and vegetables in different quantity, like a portion for a fresh break or a bigger one for a light meal. The sales personnel will cut products into pieces to create a mix of fruits and vegetables that the customer can take away and consume, totally enjoying the freshness. This is a real alternative to junk food that can lead people to consume more healthy food during the day. This area is able to link also different part of the supermarket, like meat department or cheese one, thanks to some advice and recipes given in the stand and the way finding included in the project. In fact, the stand shows two different menu, one for vegetables and one for fruits. Menu gives some advice about the consummation of fruits and vegetables, just adding other product for original and simple recipes.
